Project Specifications
We provide architectural specifications that typically consist of two Review sets, a Tender set (IFT) and a Construction set (IFC). Included are two addendums, if required. These following specification types comply with the most updated Masterformat and CSC best practices:
Prescriptive Specifications
Provide detailed instructions on materials, processes, and workmanship, leaving little room for interpretation.
Performance Specifications
Focus on the desired outcome or function of a material or component, rather than specifying specific materials or methods.
Proprietary Specifications
We provide specifications from a Manufacturer allowing them (following codes, testing standards and performance criteria) to be specified as a product or systems on a project. This typically consists of two reviews and one final copy. We work with the Manufacturer Representative to ensure their product/system is clearly described and can compete with other competitor’s products to ensure that trade contractors can bid or submit a substitution successfully with that product/system.
